Ed was born and raised in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and attended Penn State University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. In 1993 Ed began his career as an agent with New York Life. He has been a member of NAIFA since 1994 and served as President of NAIFA of the Lehigh Valley from 1999-2000. Ed has earned the designations of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) and Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) from The American College and is also designated a Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF®). He is a Qualifying Member of The Million Dollar Round Table (2025)*.
Ed has been very active in his community over the years. He currently serves on the the ArtsQuest Musikfest Committee and has been a Musikfest volunteer for over 30 years. He is a past president of the Northampton County Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association, a past president of the Governor Wolf PTA and a former trustee of the Foundation for the Bethlehem Area School District. Ed serves as a board member of the Freedom High School sports booster club, known as The Patriot Club and coached both Little League and tournament softball teams for a number of years. He has been married to his wife, Karen, since 1991. In his spare time Ed enjoys attending sporting events, Penn State football, Phillies and IronPigs baseball, golfing, reading biographies of the founding fathers, photography and visiting the west coast.
