Ed was born and raised in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and attended Penn State University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. In 1993 Ed began his career as an agent with New York Life. He has been a member of NAIFA since 1994 and served as President of NAIFA of the Lehigh Valley from 1999-2000. Ed has earned the designations of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) from The American College and is also designated a Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF®).
Ed has been very active in his community over the years. He currently serves on the the ArtsQuest Musikfest Committee. He is a past president of the Northampton County Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association and a past president of the Governor Wolf PTA. He serves as a Trustee and Secretary for the Foundation for the Bethlehem Area School District. He coached both Little League and tournament softball teams for a number of years. Ed is a verger at the Cathedral Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem and is a member of the Vergers' Guild of the Episcopal Church.
Ed has been married to his wife, Karen, since 1991. They have a daughter named Jana who recently earned her degree in Economics from UCLA and now works in Southern California. In his spare time Ed enjoys attending sporting events, Penn State football, Phillies and IronPigs baseball, golfing, reading biographies of the founding fathers, photography and visiting Jana on the west coast.
